COVID19: Henley High School closure on Thursday 2 April 2020

2 April 2020

We have been informed by the Communicable Disease Control Branch of SA Health that a student at Henley High School has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

The Department for Education has enacted its COVID-19 protocol and shut the site for a minimum of 24 hours.

Parents and carers are currently being contacted and the school is releasing students to go home in a manner agreed by parents/carers.

If you are attending the site to collect your child please sign them out as instructed. This will ensure the school can keep an accurate record of who has and hasn’t been collected.

Public health officials are carrying out contact tracing and the Department for Education and SA Health will inform anyone who needs to self-isolate.

As soon as the site is vacated we will thoroughly clean the relevant areas consistent with the recommendations for environmental management for prevention of transmission of coronavirus.

The site will not reopen until public health officials indicate it is safe to do so.
