Another highly experienced South Australian educator has excelled in the national search to find a leader for one of the four new public schools opening term 1, 2022.

Rebecca Moore, most recently a principal consultant for primary and secondary schools in the south of Adelaide, will head up the new public high school in Goolwa bringing with her an abundance of educational and leadership knowledge.

Building upon her past principal experience in the southern area, Rebecca brings energy, passion and commitment to quality teaching and learning and equity in education to the role. She is committed to innovation, improvement, and to building a culture of high expectations and standards.

Rebecca’s combination of outstanding educational experience and leadership will be truly valuable in creating a new school with its own individual environment, personality, and community.

The appointment is another reflection of the quality of local school leadership, with the appointed principals for the new schools in Aldinga, Angle Vale, and Whyalla also reigning from the South Australian public education sector. Our four new principals are committed to delivering world-class education to their communities.
