Parent letter from Chief Public Health Officer

23 April 2020

SA’s Chief Public Health Officer, Professor Nicola Spurrier, has written to parents encouraging students to return to school for term 2.

Schools, preschools and early childhood facilities are low risk environments for COVID-19, and should remain open.

Parents and carers can choose to send their children to school, preschool or childcare, and feel confident that they are not placing their children at increased risk of COVID-19.

This letter from Professor Nicola Spurrier, Chief Public Health Officer about term 2 and COVID-19 (PDF 132KB) was sent to parents and carers on 22 April 2020.
