Department for Education schools and preschools have funding for core teaching, learning, leadership, teaching support, administration and basic site operations. They also get targeted funding for children and students who need extra support, and for groups of students who are assessed as being educationally disadvantaged.
Every school and preschool has an outline of each part of their funding in a resource entitlement statement (RES). More details about how these resources are divided up in general are in the resource entitlement statement supporting information documents (RES notes).
The RES notes are subject to change to reflect changes in parameters and approved policies.
