Planning is underway at Naracoorte High School as the first stage of their Building Better Schools upgrade. 

The plans propose to create a new arts and design facility, new covered outdoor learning areas, breakout spaces and a new sports and agriculture learning centre.

A covered walkway is planned to link learning spaces within the first floor of building 1 to the lift within building 2. This structure will also serve to provide a canopy between the 2 buildings at ground level.

A number of aged buildings are earmarked for demolition as part of the proposal.
