The Special Options program, co-designed with and delivered by Flinders University, specifically aims to enhance your capacity to design high quality, differentiated learning experiences for diverse students.

What's being delivered lives up to the pitch of world-class. I wish I could have taken part in the Orbis program 5 years ago when I started teaching.

Applied learning

You’ll complete applied learning tasks to support the application of professional learning into practice. This includes 2 practice-based learning activities completed between learning days. All tasks will be discussed during program sessions with support available from the facilitators.

Expert coaching

The program will be facilitated by 2 university experts in inclusive education. The facilitators will answer questions, encourage structured discussion, suggest relevant resources, and provide you with supportive, constructive feedback on applied learning tasks. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to engage in a one-on-one online coaching session, where you’ll be invited to share and develop your ideas for your applied learning task.
