This suite of lessons support short-term learning at home when face-to-face learning is interrupted due to COVID.

Students can start at lesson 1 and work their way through in order. Each lesson is either a video or a PowerPoint presentation.

Numeracy lesson 1 (Series 1)

In this lesson you'll learn how to count to 100 and make groups of objects from around your home.

You'll need to find things to count around your house. You'll also need something to write with and a piece of paper.

Phonics

Literacy lesson 1 (Series 1)

In this lesson you'll learn about the grapheme [ai].

You'll need something to write with and some paper.

Building strength

Physical activity lesson 1 (Series 1)

You'll build your strength as you move to the music.  

You don't need any equipment for this lesson.

Numeracy lesson 2 (Series 1)

In this lesson you'll learn how to count forwards and backwards by 2s and practise how to subitise.

You'll need your collection of items, something to write with and some paper.

Phonics

Literacy lesson 2 (Series 1)

In this lesson you'll learn about the grapheme [ay].

You'll need something to write with and some paper.

Building strength

Physical activity lesson 2 (Series 1)

You'll learn how to build your strength as you move to the music.  

You'll need a bottle of water and 3 'safe' objects that you can fit into one hand. You could use a tennis ball or rolled up socks.

Numeracy lesson 3 (Series 1)

In this lesson you'll practise counting items by 2 and 10 and learn how to represent number in various forms.

You'll need something to write with and a piece of paper.

Phonics

Literacy lesson 3 (Series 1)

In this lesson, you'll learn about the grapheme [ee].

You'll need something to write with and some paper.

Building strength

Physical activity lesson 3 (Series 1)

In this lesson you'll continue to build your strength. You'll need 2 light weights.

You could use drink bottles filled with water. You'll also need a pair of socks rolled up in to a ball.

Numeracy lesson 4 (Series 1)

In this lesson you'll revise counting up to 100 by 2, 5 and 10 and practise subitising.

You'll need something to write with and a piece of paper.
