Seaton High School

Planning is underway at Seaton High School as the first stage of their Building Better Schools upgrade.

The plans propose to demolish transportables and replace them with modern learning areas to address future anticipated demand. New learning areas are planned adjacent to the two-storey building at the western end of the school. This proposed location will help concentrate student activity in a more centralised area within the school. Refurbishing existing facilities is also planned to create a new arts/music/drama precinct and more flexible learning areas.

Other plans include a new student hub containing the resource centre and flexible learning and breakout spaces, which will open up the front of the site improving the street aspect of the school.

These initial plans are subject to further planning and may change.
