Key improvements

• The refurbishment of existing laboratories into modern, purpose-built facilities will provide a diverse range of contemporary specialist laboratories that are visually connected and open up to a central STEM commons collaborative space.

• Science learning areas will be transformed into an active investigation zone that reflects contemporary science based inter-disciplinary environments. Specialist explicit teaching areas are supported by ‘thinking’ spaces for cross-fertilisation of ideas and transfer of knowledge.

• An outdoor learning area will provide opportunities for small group activities and the testing of projects.
