Woodville High School

Planning is underway at Woodville High School for their Building Better Schools upgrade.

Plans are being considered and reviewed in line with the transition of year 7 into high school by 2022.

Among the upgrades being considered for Woodville High School are:

  • Removing a transportable building containing asbestos.
  • Building a new combined horticulture and food technology facility that will form part of the school’s main frontage, enhancing the schools visual appeal.
  • Upgrades to the existing visual arts facility by opening up the learning spaces and connecting them to the existing courtyard, and creating an outdoor artist studio.
  • Refurbishing the science learning area, languages area, counselling offices and library, and new sunshades for the existing two-storey building.

These plans are subject to further consideration and may change.
