Aboriginal cultural studies

The Aboriginal cultural studies curriculum supports young South Australians to understand and celebrate the historical and contemporary contributions, stories, history and culture of Australia's Aboriginal people.

This resource is intended to help teachers plan and teach Aboriginal Cultural Studies curriculum from reception to year 10 and has been aligned to the Australian Curriculum phase 1 learning areas:

  • English
  • mathematics
  • science
  • history.

You can also access Aboriginal Education teaching resources through the Aboriginal Education Resource Moodle.

The Aboriginal Education Facebook page is a place to share resources, training, ideas and provoke thoughts about improving learning outcomes for a Aboriginal learners.
