First language maintenance and development (FLMD) grant form

The first language maintenance and development (FLMD) annual grant is available to support first language learning in reception to year 6.

Schools can apply for the grant by completing this online from.

If you need to submit an application for a group of schools, use the group FLMD application form instead.

Do not submit this form unless you:

  • have read and understand the application and eligibility requirements on the FLMD grants EDi page 
  • understand that the proposed FLMD language cannot be the same as the school’s Australian Curriculum language
  • have discussed the school's FLMD plans with the providers nominated above.
