If you’re studying education and completing your studies in mid-2022, you can apply for a teaching position.
We have teaching opportunities in country South Australia and in metro schools and preschools. There are large incentives for positions in country areas, including a moving allowance and bonus payment.
You’ll also have access to our professional learning programs and teaching resources.
Don’t wait until 2023 – roles are available in school term 3 and 4 this year. Apply today and kick-start your career.
A variety of roles are available at metro and regional schools and preschools.
If you have met teacher employment requirements and registration, you could work as a contract teacher or temporary relief teacher.
If you haven’t met teacher employment requirements yet, you can still work as a School Services Officer (SSO) or Early Childhood Worker (ECW) at our schools and preschools.
A contract teacher has a contract with a school or preschool for a fixed period of time. A small number of contract teaching roles in regional and metro may be advertised throughout the year.
Temporary relief teachers
Temporary relief teachers receive great work flexibility and variety by filling in for absent teachers and providing extra support in schools and preschools on a casual basis.
School services officers
School services officers (SSOs) provide classroom support in our schools and preschools.
Early childhood workers
Early childhood workers (ECWs) provide curriculum classroom support in preschools. There are 3 types of ECWs – preschool, rural care and occasional care.
