Please note to be employed by the department, applicants must be vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved medical exemption endorsed by a duly qualified medical practitioner. Unvaccinated people must comply with conditions for unvaccinated people as outlined in the Department’s website. Proof of vaccination status must be provided for sighting on request.

APY Lands

Special requirements

Successful applicants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to enter the APY Lands, as per the local Aboriginal Community Councils (Yalata Anangu Aboriginal Corporation, Oak Valley – Maralinga Tjarutja Council and APY – Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Executive Board).

To ensure employer compliance of duty of care responsibilities, given the unique environment of the APY Lands, a wellness check will be conducted for these positions and before any offer of employment.
