Find out what's new in the family day care educator portal, including important updates and information.
The department will launch a statewide family day care marketing campaign early in 2020. The campaign aims to increase awareness of family day care in South Australia and therefore increase the number of children and families using family day care. We're planning for the marketing campaign to be over 18 to 24 months and include radio, social media and print promotions, new branding, community promotions and a new online presence for the department’s family day care service.
To make sure we can always connect families to educator vacancies, it's important to update the Business and Customer Support Centre when you have vacancies or when they are filled.
To update your vacancy simply fill in the educator vacancy information form, or email the Business and Customer Support Centre with your current vacancies – educationfdcbusiness [at] sa.gov.au.
If you do not have any vacancies, just email and let us know.
An update on the family day care and respite care market engagement (PDF 221KB) was issued in October 2019.
The department issued a letter to educators and respite carers (PDF 43KB) exploring if there's a better way to support the small businesses offering family day care and respite care.
