Government schools: 1800 162 033 (SWISS)
Social Work Incident Support Service (SWISS) supports all SA government schools and preschools to respond to critical incidents and crisis events.
Catholic and independent schools: 0417 119 733 (Clinical lead) or 0448 381 280 (State Manager) (Be You – headspace schools and communities)
Be You – headspace schools and communities (Be You) is a national service that helps schools prepare for, respond to, and recover from the impact of critical incidents.
Department for Education staff can customise the placemats to suit what’s happening in the school.
Independent and Catholic schools do not use these placemats. They work collaboratively with Be You to prepare their school’s response.
