The Enter for Success program aims to improve attendance and retention rates of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students by allowing them to attend the SA government high school of their choice.
Choosing a high school
Students should enrol in a high school that:
- meets their educational needs
- provides the best opportunity for a healthy social life
- provides encouraging environments for educational success.
To make the most of the choice provided by the Enter for Success program, parents or carers should see the page on starting school and discuss the options available with teachers and staff at their child's primary school.
Who can apply
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students wishing to enrol in the program must enrol when they are in year 7.
How to apply
If you wish to apply for this program, you and your child should meet with your primary school staff to discuss the options of attending a secondary school other than your local zoned school through this program.
Help with your application
Contact your school if you need help with the enrolment.
