Data and information management skills register

The System Performance Division are seeking interest from people with the relevant knowledge, skills or experience required for short-term (3 to 6 month) vacancies at various levels (ASO4 to ASO8). Find out more about the division and how you can apply.

By registering your interest, you may be brought in at short notice to support major planned data and information management activities across our business units.

About System Performance

System Performance has a wide range of responsibilities; all critically important to achieving the department’s vision of growth for every child, in every class, in every school and preschool. It supports the work of all areas of the department and strengthens the connections between them.

Responsibilities of the division include:

  • data collection, warehousing, reporting, analysing and governing to support colleagues throughout the public education system improve outcomes for children and young people
  • the administration of the National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy in South Australia and the transition to NAPLAN online for all South Australian schools
  • coordinating, monitoring and reporting on the implementation and impact of system strategies and other key initiatives as determined by the Senior Executive Group (SEG)
  • the facilitation of strategic business processes such as the development of the department’s annual action plan, division business planning and the annual review of the department’s governance framework
  • forecasting, predictive modelling and analytic services to the department.

  • Data Reporting and Analytics Directorate
  • Executive and Programs Support Unit.

Eligibility criteria

To be included in the register you must:

  • have or be prepared to obtain a DHS Working with Children Clearance (WWCC)
  • be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have an unrestricted working visa
  • be able to complete a pre-employment declaration form
  • be able to complete RRHAN-EC child protection training (once commenced in the role)
  • be available to start at short notice (within 4 weeks).
