Anyone can provide feedback about the Department for Education’s services. We pass all feedback, compliments and suggestions on to the relevant area or person.

Give feedback, make compliments or suggestions

You can share your general feedback, compliments or suggestions with us by:

  • completing our online feedback form
  • calling 1800 088 158
  • emailing education.customers [at] sa.gov.au.

Complaints

To submit negative feedback or complaints, review how to make a complaint about a school or preschool before submitting the online feedback form. 


Complaints about central (corporate) office staff

If your complaint is about central (corporate) office staff, you should contact the staff member directly to discuss your issue.

If you’re unable to resolve the issue that way, contact the relevant line manager. If you’re unsure who to contact, contact us:

What happens with your feedback

Compliments

When we receive your compliment we will:

  • inform the person or business area you’re pleased with
  • possibly share this with the department to encourage best practice service delivery.

Comments and suggestions

When we receive your comment or suggestion we will:

  • acknowledge receipt within 2 working days
  • make sure the right person considers your comment or suggestion
  • reply to you if you have asked us to.
