Students attending the four new public schools opening in Aldinga, Angle Vale, Goolwa, and Whyalla next year have taken their newly revealed uniforms for a spin.
The new uniforms are a significant milestone ahead of the schools opening their doors next year and will play an important role in creating a sense of identity, belonging, and pride among students and their community.
Featuring a choice of items, the uniforms are available in the school colours ranging from rugby jumpers and jackets, polo shirts, to chinos and trousers. Whyalla Secondary College will offer uniforms for school sport competitions for football, basketball, soccer, and netball.
The design and concept of the school uniforms were determined locally, in consultation with their community.
Future families will be provided details on how to purchase the uniforms once enrolled.
In 2022 Aldinga Payinthi College and Riverbanks College B-12 will open to students in preschool to year 8, Goolwa Secondary College will open to students in year 7 and 8, and Whyalla Secondary College will open to students from year 7 to 12.
More information on the new schools can be found at Enrol in a school or preschool.
