Fregon Aṉangu School is undergoing a facility upgrade.

Key features of the upgrade include:

• construction of new facilities to accommodate the junior primary, primary and secondary students providing general learning areas, withdrawal spaces, breakout spaces, amenities including covered outdoor learning areas
• refurbishment of existing gymnasium
• refurbishment of existing art building
• additional new facilities includes the construction of:
  • an administration building
  • a food technology and canteen building including covered outdoor areas
  • roof over the existing basketball court and playground equipment
  • new toilets
  • outdoor learning areas and external landscaping including associated paved areas
• demolition of ageing infrastructure.
