Parafield Gardens High School – major upgrades

Construction of the Parafield Gardens High School Capital Works upgrade is complete. 

Key features of the upgrade include:

• a new building including a gymnasium, food technology teaching facilities and amenities
• refurbishment of the existing gym into music and drama suites
• refurbishing existing learning space into contemporary learning areas
• removing transportable buildings and identified asbestos.

Upgrade details

Parafield Gardens High School is receiving a special options upgrade to accommodate new specialised education facilities for students with disability.

The upgrade will deliver a new modular building providing access to dedicated support spaces for the special option classes, consisting of:

• general learning areas
• flexible learning spaces
• shared kitchenette
• storage and teacher preparation areas
• fully assisted access toilet.
