The State Government will invest $715 million over five years to implement universal 3-year-old preschool and other key recommendations from the Royal Commission into Early Childhood Education and Care.

The State Government will invest $218 million to build a new preschool and primary school at Mount Barker, and a new secondary school in the northern suburbs of Adelaide.

An additional 12.2 million has been committed to a redevelopment project for Fregon Anangu School on the Aṉangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands, bringing the total budget for the work to $33.2 million.

A $6.3 million facility upgrade has been officially recognised at Parafield Gardens Primary School featuring new classrooms and an art suite.

A new performing arts facility, named after a former student who has performed for royalty, is the centrepiece of a $14 million facility upgrade at Valley View Secondary School.
