What is ClassCover?

ClassCover is the department’s fully-funded online temporary relief teacher booking system. It provides a trusted and efficient way to connect schools and preschools with relief teachers when they need them.

What this means for temporary relief teachers

Temporary Relief Teachers (TRTs) can register on ClassCover at no cost to find and accept relief work in South Australian public schools and preschools.

TRTs can:

• access hundreds of public schools and preschools across South Australia
• manage availability through the mobile app
• receive booking requests instantly by app, SMS or email
• update their profile once and be visible to participating schools and preschools.

There’s no need to re-register if you are already using ClassCover.

We recommend:

• checking your profile details are up-to-date
• registering for South Australian public school and preschool profiles, so they can book your TRT services.

The department does not fund the optional add-on ‘ClassCover Learn’, which provides online professional development and support for maintaining accreditation.

How to start using ClassCover

For temporary relief teachers

Visit ClassCover for teachers and follow the steps below:

1. Create a free teacher profile.
2. Add your qualifications and mandatory training.
3. Set your availability and start receiving booking requests.

If you are already using ClassCover, there is no need to re-register. Please ensure your profile is up-to-date and that you are registered to receive booking requests from South Australian public schools and preschools.
