New performing arts centre at Para Hills High School officially opened

The new $5 million performing arts centre at Para Hills High School is an all-singing, all-dancing space, large enough to give students the chance to show off their skills.The performing arts centre has a capacity to seat 200 people and was officially opened today.

Upgrade at Gawler and District College B-12 officially opened

A new outdoor pavilion, large enough for the 1400 students at Gawler and District College B-12 to gather in has been officially opened.

New Practice Guides for educators launched

Pilot launched to expand free child development checks

Two 18-month pilot programs are underway to expand the reach of free child development checks. The checks, designed for children aged 0 to 5 years across South Australia, are a way to identify any developmental concerns.

Students awarded Premier’s ANZAC Spirit School Prize

More than 600 students have taken part in the 2022 Premier’s ANZAC Spirit School Prize competition, with 20 Year 9 and 10 students from across the state selected to attend a 12-day study tour to Darwin and the Top End of Australia in April 2023 to coincide with Anzac Day.
