A passionate parent at Lenswood Primary School has devoted countless volunteer hours to develop and lead a Parents in Education funded project aimed at building resilience and bolstering community ties.

Funding for a program supporting drought-impacted families of public school students to go on school camps or excursions has been bolstered, following overwhelming demand from schools.

In term 3 2025, up to 250 teachers across government and non-government preschool sites in South Australia will have the opportunity to take part in a trial of the Early Years Assessment and Learning Tool (EYALT).

A fresh focus on children’s literacy to ensure their lifetime learning capacity is the basis of a refreshed Literacy Guarantee developed to support parents, teachers and students.

A review of schools, services and programs will be undertaken to look at how to engage students who receive their education outside of mainstream public education.
