The computer recycling scheme (CRS) receives donations of surplus computers and ICT equipment from a range of state and federal government departments.
The equipment is then refurbished for use in state, independent and Catholic schools throughout South Australia.
Each piece of ICT equipment is cleaned, tested and has an operating system installed.
How to purchase recycled computers
Schools can request a quote by contacting the Computer Recycling Scheme at education.crs@sa.gov.au.
Computers purchased through this scheme are only permitted for use on the curriculum network (not the administration network).
