Non-government schools, not-for-profit (NFP) early childhood education and care (ECEC) providers can apply for low-interest loans to build or upgrade facilities.
Funding of $171 million is available for low interest loans with terms up to 15 years.
Loans of between $500,000 and $10 million per school are available.
Criteria
We'll prioritise infrastructure projects that:
- increase the number of students who can enrol in areas where there is demand (for ECEC centre projects as determined by the Office for Early Childhood Development market information summary | Office for Early Childhood Development)
- support student retention
- refurbish existing facilities to provide a modern learning experience.
Key dates
The scheme is open from 1 May 2025 until 31 July 2025.
