The cricket carnival is a fun based competition for students with disability in years 5 to 12 run in conjunction with the South Australian Cricket Association (SACA). Find out more about the event and how you can enter.
To participate in the event, students with disability must be
- enrolled at an affiliated school
- in year 5 or above
Venue is to be confirmed.
The carnival will be held on Tuesday 15 November and will start at 10am and finish by 2pm.
There is no cost to participate
Submit the cricket students with disability carnival nomination form by Tuesday 25 October 2022. The nomination form will be available closer to the due date.
The competition be run using the T20 blast format with teams divided into 2 categories, entries permitting, with all levels of experience and skills catered for.
- Soft ball, no protective equipment required.
- 4 overs per batting pair
- 2 overs per bowler
- 12 overs per side

A team is made up of 6 players in either mixed or girls only categories. Schools can enter as many teams as they like.
Schools with insufficient numbers to make up a team can nominate individual students to make up combined teams on the day.
The draw which will include final details will be sent to schools once nominations close.
